Recurring Timers

Recurring timers automatically restart on a schedule—daily, weekly, or monthly. Perfect for regular events, weekly deals, or monthly deadlines.

How Recurring Timers Work

Auto-Restarting Countdown

When a recurring timer reaches zero, it automatically resets and starts counting down to the next occurrence. No manual intervention needed.

📅

Daily

Resets every day

📆

Weekly

Resets every week

🗓️

Monthly

Resets every month

Perfect Use Cases

  • Weekly Sales: "Flash Friday" or weekend specials
  • Monthly Webinars: Countdown to next session
  • Daily Deals: "Today's offer expires at midnight"
  • Subscription Renewals: Monthly billing reminders
  • Content Drops: Weekly newsletter or podcast countdown

Creating a Recurring Timer

1. Select Timer Type

In the Config tab, select "Recurring" from the Timer Type dropdown.

2. Choose Recurrence Pattern

Daily

Set the time of day when the timer resets (e.g., midnight)

Weekly

Choose day of week and time (e.g., every Friday at 6pm)

Monthly

Select day of month and time (e.g., 1st of each month)

3. Set Timezone

Choose the timezone for the recurrence. The timer will reset at the specified time in this timezone.

Example: Weekly Flash Sale

Flash Friday Setup

Pattern: Weekly

Day: Friday

Time: 11:59 PM

Timezone: America/New_York

Result: Timer counts down to 11:59 PM EST every Friday. When it hits zero, it immediately starts counting down to the next Friday.

Important Behavior Notes

Instant Reset: The timer resets immediately when it hits zero—there's no "expired" state.

Always Active: Recurring timers never expire, they just keep cycling.

Month End: For monthly recurrence on the 31st, shorter months use the last day.
