Date & Time Settings
Learn how to configure target dates, times, and timezones for your countdown timers.
Target Date
The target date is when your countdown reaches zero. Set this using the date picker in the Config tab.
Date Picker
- • Click the date field to open the calendar
- • Use arrows to navigate months
- • Click a date to select it
- • Dates in the past are disabled
Target Time
Set the specific time when the countdown ends. SnapTimers uses 24-hour format internally but displays in your preferred format.
Hour
0-23 (midnight = 0, noon = 12)
Minute
0-59
Tip: For "end of day" sales, use 23:59 instead of 00:00 (which would be the start of the next day).
Timezone Settings
Timezone determines how the target date/time is interpreted. This is crucial for global audiences.
Fixed Timezone
Timer ends at the exact same moment globally. Choose from 150+ timezones.
Example: December 25 at midnight EST
- • New York: 12:00 AM Dec 25
- • London: 5:00 AM Dec 25
- • Tokyo: 2:00 PM Dec 25
Viewer's Timezone
Timer ends at the target time in each viewer's local timezone.
Example: December 25 at midnight local
- • New York viewer: Midnight EST
- • London viewer: Midnight GMT
- • Tokyo viewer: Midnight JST
