  • Timer displays correctly on mobile devices
  • Countdown shows correct time remaining
  • Timer updates on email refresh (close and reopen)
  • Alt text displays when images are blocked
  • Timer fits the email width on mobile

Test Across Email Clients

Different email clients render images differently. Test in as many as possible:

Gmail

Web + Mobile

Apple Mail

macOS + iOS

Outlook

Desktop + Web

Common Issues

Timer shows static image

Some Outlook versions don't animate GIFs. The timer still shows correct time on each open.

Timer shows old time

Email client is caching the image. Close and reopen the email to get the latest.

Timer is too small

Remove any width restrictions in your email HTML. Use max-width: 100% instead of a fixed width.
