Get up and running with SnapTimers in under 60 seconds. By the end of this guide, you'll have a working countdown timer ready to embed in your emails.

Create an Account

Sign up for a free account at SnapTimers. No credit card required for the free plan which includes 3 timers and 1,000 views/month.

Open the Timer Editor

From your dashboard, click "Create Timer" to open the visual editor. You'll see a split-screen view with controls on the left and a live preview on the right.

Configure Your Timer

Set up the essential settings:

  • Timer Name: Give it a descriptive name (e.g., "Black Friday Sale")
  • Timer Type: Choose Fixed Date, Evergreen, or Recurring
  • Target Date: Set when the countdown ends
  • Timezone: Select the appropriate timezone

Customize the Design

Switch to the Design tab to style your timer:

Save and Get Embed Code

Click "Save Timer" to generate your timer. Then click "Export" to get your embed code.

Paste in Your Email

Copy the embed code and paste it into your email template in Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, or any other email platform. The timer will update in real-time when recipients open the email!
