Create Your Timer in SnapTimers

Design your countdown timer with our visual editor. Choose colors that match your HubSpot email template and brand guidelines.

Copy the Timer Embed Code

Click "Get Embed Code" and copy the HTML snippet. For evergreen timers, select "HubSpot" as your Email Provider in the timer settings to automatically add the contact token.

Copy the complete HTML snippet

Open HubSpot Email Editor

Navigate to Marketing → Email in HubSpot. Create a new email or edit an existing draft. The drag-and-drop editor will open.

Both Classic and new editor are supported

Add an Image Module

From the Content panel on the left, drag an "Image" module into your email where you want the timer. Click on it to configure.

You can also use the Custom HTML module for more control
Image module is easier for most users

Add Timer as External Image URL

In the Image module settings, select "External URL" and paste your SnapTimers URL (just the src URL, not the full HTML). Set width to match your email.

Set alt text for accessibility

Preview and Test

Click "Preview" in the top right, then "Send test email" to verify the timer works correctly in real email clients.

Troubleshooting

Timer not loading in HubSpot preview

HubSpot preview may cache images. Send a test email to see the live timer.

Image appears stretched or distorted

Set the image width in HubSpot to match your timer width (usually 600px or less).

Contact token not working in evergreen timer

Ensure you're using {{contact.hs_object_id}} exactly as shown, with double curly braces.
