Step-by-Step Guide
Create Your Timer in SnapTimers
Design your countdown timer using our visual editor. Set your target date and customize the appearance.
- Use colors that match your GetResponse template
- Test different sizes for best results
Copy the Timer Embed Code
Click "Get Embed Code" and copy the HTML snippet. GetResponse supports full HTML in emails.
- Copy the complete <img> tag
- For autoresponders, consider evergreen timers
Open GetResponse Email Creator
Go to Email marketing → Create newsletter, or edit an existing email. The Email Creator will open.
- Works with all email types
- The new Email Creator is recommended
Add an HTML Block
From the "Basic" elements, drag an "HTML" block into your email where you want the timer.
- You can also use an Image block with URL
- HTML block gives more control
Paste Your Timer Code
Double-click the HTML block and paste your SnapTimers embed code. Click "Save" to apply.
- Center the timer if needed
- Add some padding around it for better spacing
Preview and Test
Use GetResponse's preview to check the timer, then send a test email to verify it animates.
- Test on desktop and mobile
- Check different email clients

HTML block not available
Make sure you're using the new Email Creator. Switch from the Legacy editor if needed.
Timer not showing correctly
Check that you pasted the complete HTML code including the img tag and closing bracket.
Timer not animating in GetResponse preview
Preview may show a static image. Send a test email to see the full animation.
