Create Your Timer in SnapTimers
Design your countdown timer with our visual editor. Pick your end date and customize the style.
- Choose colors that stand out in your email
- Keep the timer readable on mobile
Copy the Timer URL
Click "Get Embed Code" and copy just the image URL from the code (the src value).
- AWeber works best with image URLs

Open AWeber Message Editor
Go to Messages in AWeber and create a new broadcast or edit an existing message.
- Works with broadcasts and follow-up series
- Drag & Drop editor is easiest
Add an Image Element
From the elements panel, drag an "Image" element into your email template.
- Give the timer its own space
- Place it above your call-to-action
Insert Timer URL
Click on the image element and select "Use image from web". Paste your SnapTimers URL.
- Make sure to paste just the URL
- Set alt text for accessibility
Preview and Test
Save your message and send a test email to verify the timer displays and animates correctly.
- Test in Gmail and Outlook
- Check mobile view in AWeber's preview

Image not loading from URL
Ensure the URL starts with https:// and ends with .gif. Test the URL in your browser first.
Timer appears static in AWeber
AWeber's editor preview may not animate GIFs. Send a test email to see the animation.
Image size issues
Use AWeber's image settings to adjust the display width, or create a different size timer in SnapTimers.
